What to Expect

So you're thinking about visiting us this Sunday...

We’re thrilled you’re interested in Victory! We would love to have you join us for one of our Sunday Services. But maybe before you come you want to know a bit more about what it’s like. Here are some answers to common questions:

We work to show God’s love and share His truth as we love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ together!

We have different ministries, services, and activities that are all designed to help you accept Christ if you haven’t already, and then follow Him throughout your life.

You should expect to sing songs of praise and worship to God, hear expository preaching from the Bible, and spend time connecting with followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that every time believers gather in Christ’s name, He is there in the midst of them. So when you come, prepare your heart to meet with God.

Hand sanitizer is available for your use when you enter the building, and we have a (cold) water bottle filler station available for you to refill your water bottle. We no longer pass around offering plates: you can give to the Lord through Victory online or by using the church-shaped offering box in the back of the sanctuary.

Each service will have music, an opportunity to give financially to the church, a Bible lesson, and often we have a time where we greet one another. It’s our hope that you will eventually join our church family and fully participate in every part of the service, but we just ask that you participate to the level you are comfortable with.

We love to have children participating as part of our worship and we want to support you in training your child to follow the Lord. With that in mind, we have several children’s ministries available to you and your family.

We have 9:30am Sunday Bible classes for preschool age through high school, taught by well-trained teachers who use age-appropriate curriculum and love teaching their students.

You are welcome to keep your children with you, but we also offer Children’s Church during our 10:30am Sunday service (after most of the singing) for children ages 3 through 2nd grade. They will be taught a Bible lesson geared to their age group, do crafts, and more.
 
We also have nursery workers ready to watch infants and toddlers if parents would like to utilize our nursery services.
 
All workers in our children’s ministries go through a full background screening before being approved to work.

Just head right in the big glass front doors and there will be people there to greet you. If you have any questions about which classes to send your kids to or anything like that, we can help!
